  1. I have been playing golf since I was 12 years old and waited 50 years to get this hole-in-one. It was amazing, I had just put two ball in the water on the hole prior, so I took out one of my ProV1 that my husband engraved for me “Golfgirl4life”. Somehow I was able to put the last hold away and focus. The hole was only about 105 to the pin but with wind in face played it 115 to pin, took out my 8 iron and hit a great shot. As I watched the ball fly from on top of the hill I was on, over the pond and to the green, I thought it would be close. The ball dropped 8” from hole and then disappeared into the cup! I was amazed to actually see the ball disappear. I turned around and said to my team, did that go in? I was so excited, we all went to the hold and there it was in the cup. We were playing golf at Innisbrook Copperhead, where the famous Valspar PGA tournament is, this was an LPGA Amateur event so not only did I get a hole in one, I won the closest to the pin on that hole #13. I also place 2nd net for 1st flight stroke play. And, to add to all of this, I just got voted in as the new LPGA Amateur Tampa Bay President! What a fabulous day!
