It was a cool fall day, 10/9/2024, at Eldorado Golf Course in Cadillac Michigan. Our foursome came to #17, a par three playing 140 yards over a marsh, with a right to left wind. I was second to play and hit a solid 7 iron fade against the breeze. My Pro V1 landed softly, two feet short and a little left of the cup. It took one hop, spun right and gently rolled into the cup. We watched it all the way in! I have been playing golf for over 40 years and have had many tee shots come close, but this is my first hole-in-one. It was very exciting!
