My first ace was on July 19th, 2021, my grandpa was in hospice at the time and as a way to get away from the worries I decided to go out and play a quick round, I am forever thankful that I did. After a so so round of 5 over I teed up on the 164 yard 15th hole with my titleist tour soft and t200 8 iron, the ball carried just short of the green with a slight draw took one hop onto the green and started rolling right for the flag, I heard the sound of the pin and saw the ball disappear! I was in shock, and then the 2 guys on the hole ahead of me started shouting, I yelled out and asked if it went in and they screamed back yes. I raced to my cart and sprinted to the green from there to see the ball sitting at the bottom of the cup, my first ace! I was then able to go and see my grandpa the next day and tell him all about it which was special for me as we shared many memories on the golf course and both had a great love for the game, it was one of the happiest and proudest moments of my life. He passed 2 days later, but I am forever grateful that God aloud me to have that special moment with him.
