I was first one on the course and was playing solo. I was playing really well and just came off of a birdie on number 12. Number 13 is one of those hole where if I hit the green at all, I am pumped. Pin was off to the right a little, so I aimed middle of the green and was hoping the wind would move it back towards the hole. I hit a solid 7 iron and it looked good the whole way! Took one bounce and disappeared. This is every golfers nightmare! Either I was long or in. I grabbed my rangefinder and looked at the green and couldn't see a ball anywhere, but I could see the ball mark on the green. I Stood there with my arms crossed for 2 minutes and just kept saying, no way did this just happen. There was a homeowner who lived on the hole and he was outside doing yard-work and I had noticed that he watched me hit. He lived right next to the tee box. I went up to him and said that I had a weird request, but asked if he could ride with me down to the green and be my witness. He said sure. We got up to the green and he said maybe you just went over the green. I walked up to the hole and there it was!!! A hole-in-one!!!! I videotaped him and me walking up to the green and got his reaction. I couldn't believe it, but I was happy I grabbed him and had a witness.
