I’ve been playing since a young age and now i am down to playing off 3 and never managed to hit a hole in one in my career, i was playing in the club competition the day before my hole in one, and I was stood on the 3rd tee which is a par 3 after a bad start and said to my partners jokingly best hole this to get back in it, and as shown on the photo I’ve attached I was this close to doing so, but the wait still went on until the next day where I grabbed my first hole in one playing in the club competition, 174 yards downhill struck a nice 8 iron but the pin was tucked below a dip at the start of the green, the ball was on a good line until you couldn’t see it no more, then my heart dropped and one of my playing partnera heard the ball tap the bottom of the flag, so down I have gone and there is the ball in the bottom of the cup. Just one day after been so close.
