We had our annual Americredit golf tournament at Southern Hills in Hawkinsville Georgia. After an Eagle on 12 comes the dog leg right number 13 par 4 that you can hit a cut around the tree line or just take the aggressive approach right over the trees. I chose to take the aggressive approach with my QI10 3 wood and take it over the trees. It was absolutely on a frozen rope towards the green and I instantly got goosebumps. The hole was playing about 284 yards and as we crossed the bridge to go over the fairway I looked at my playing partner and stated that I had a weird feeling. He asked what do you mean? I stated if the flag is in the middle or front of the green it’s a possibility it’s in the hole. I just had a feeling it was from this point. As we approached the green I didn’t see my Titleist prov1. I yelled to our group guys I don’t see the ball. We all got excited and as we walked to the green I noticed my pitch mark about 3 feet from the pin and at that point I started yelling and everyone was getting super excited. I knew it was in and as I got to the hole sure enough laying halfway down the cup leaning against the flag my ball was in there. Absolutely crazy celebration and feelings wen through the air as I was yelling and screaming. It was the best wood I have ever hit and I knew it was going to be special. Still can’t believe it. Unfortunately we lost to a pencil whipping team who shot 52 and I didn’t even get a prize for the hole in one . But hopefully I’ll be in the golf Georgia magazine next month. Love this game of golf and all the great people it has brought into my life.
