14 hole on the white course at Tunxis Country Club in Farmington, CT. 184 yards and a little downwind. I hit a 6 iron and the ball landed 3 inches from the cup, one bounce and in. It was a subdued celebration since I wasn’t 100% sure it went in, though my 3 playing partners were. (Didn’t want to get my hopes up only to have it directly behind the pin or something. Walked up and in the cup! Played the last 4 holes with a dumb smile on my face. And the bar/restaurant was closed cause it’s November and they are only open on the weekends now. So I saved some money buying the 14 guys that were in our group drinks.
