On December 12, 2024 I was playing in our weekly men’s club event at Saddlebrooke Ranch Golf Club here in Oracle, AZ. We were playing the 14th par three hole which was playing at 135 yards in to the wind. I hit my nine iron and our entire foursome watched as it landed and rolled into the hole! The game that day was a partner skins game so all my partner had to do was score a par three for us to win a skin. Unfortunately he posted a four and we missed out. Regardless I we very happy to pay a for a round of drinks for all 24 participants. Oh, I almost forgot, I recently switched back to playing a Titleist Pro V1x yellow ball. I found that I achieved an extra 10+ yards off the with your Pro V1 ball and at 74 years old the yellow ball is easier to see!
