    You may have seen it in our recent Instagram story but just in case you missed it, here's a pic of Charley Hoffman we snapped this week on the range at the PGA Championship donning one of the soon to be released Titleist Rope Hats.

    I have never been a fan of the rope hats. They remind me of an old farmer hat. I grew up on a farm and didn't like them then either. Sorry, just not a fan. Love Titleist, just not that hat.

    In the 60s and 70s, I cut the ropes off countless new golf hats because I never liked them. Now they're back in style.
    Titleist sure leads the way in style. It'll be a big hit, just not for me.

    Love 'em! Can't wait to get one (or a couple...). I much prefer the high crown hats like these. Low crown just doesn't look right on my head in my opinion.

    Well since you asked...I think it's a pretty dopey look. Belongs with the old golf gloves with snap closures and wooden woods. A little too retro for this old dog.

    FootJoy, another Acushnet company, offers the sun sleeves. Check them out here: www.footjoy.com/.../. I have two pair that I use in the height of summer here in Texas. Love them.

    I would just like the Jarrod Lyle Yellow Titleist hats. Those are more important that Rope hats by far!!
