Rory or Martin may be battling for a top spot.  Phil is too streaky I think to get the spot.  I like DJ so we'll have to wait and see.

I would put my money on Martin.  I hope Phil pulls it off (he deserves it), but Kymer is just too strong to ignore.

I don't think it will be an American golfer at the top spot by years end.  Just my opinion.

Well I am the best in the world in my own mind, but as for the professional ranks, it will be one of the European players again.  Maybe McDowell or Kaymer.  Woods will get back into form in about a month and will play well, but the Euro guys are hitting it good right now.  We will have to wait, but this is a dang good question.  

You have to figure that Kaymer has a pretty good chance at it.  It is all about the points earned...

I would like to see Phil work his way up there.  Or, maybe Stricker could get hot and do it.  However, it will probably be Kaymer.

you know right now i think theres about 4 or 5 number ones out there. there are so many big name golfers these days i think the tour i more competitive than ever. Or im just younger and only know a of about 20 or so of the older names. Kymer's looking strong, Tiger had a great round yesterday in dubai. Rory is leading dubai. he's always near the top of the leader board. Phil's making a great start. DJ looks good im waiting to see ZJ this year. Bubba wont torrie. I looks like a great year for golf.
