    Does anyone have the head weight specifications (without inserts) for the following Scotty Cameron putters:

    1). 2017 Newport Mallet 2

    2). 2017 Futura 7M

    3). 2015 Cameron Futura X5

    Looking for actual head weight specifications without inserts. I know that 15g inserts are standard for a 34" putter and 10g inserts are standard for a 35".

    Since the heads are not going to be released until mid-march I do not have a head to weigh, however in the past these heads all were around 320 grams each give or take 5 grams. Long neck putters and some mallets are 330 grams without weights.

    Any reason for not providing the head weight specifications? Seems like most of the other major players provide this information.

    I do not believe Titleist is keeping it a secret since they generally post their specs at Titleist.com IMHO

    I'm I correct to state that the head weights provided are with the standard 10g inserts for a 35" putter length? Therefore, I should be able to subtract 20g from each of the weights provided to derive the head weight?

    I'm interested in the New Newport 2.5 - 34" putter, what is the head weight of this putter (15g weights) & do you offer any 65g-70g putter grips to help increase swing weight?

    Cathi - My question is related to Kurt's. I just purchased a 34" Futura 5S. Based on a 35" 7M being 355 g, is a 34" 5S 365? It doesn't seem especially heavy.
    I have a 35" Red X (330 g) that I might have the Custom Shop shorten to 34". Was thinking of going to 350 g rather than the (old & Red X) standard 34" weight of 340. Thanks in advance. cm

    I was told that the 2016 Newport 2.5 - 34" model has a head weight of 360g with the standard 15g weights, is this accurate? also is it possible to order & pay upcharge on the Cameron midsize Leather grip instead of Matador?

    Yes, that is the weight and you can order the leather grip through the Custom shop only. www.scottycameron.com/.../classic.aspx

    Hi, Yes, the 34" Futura X5 is about 365 grams assuming it has 15 gram weights and the standard grip.

    Can anyone give me the head weights for the Newport Mallet 1 (M1) and Studio select fastback No 1 putters? I have both in 35" length with 10 grm weights and the standard matador grip on the M1 and a SS mid slim 2.0 grip on the Fastback. I struggle with distance control with the M1 and don't seem to have that problem with the fastback that I like. I am trying to get the feel on the M1 as close to the fastback as I can and tried a SS mid slim 2.0 on it but didn't like the feel and went back to a matador grip. The matador grip is 85g while the mid slim 2.0 is 50g.
