Titleist AP1 712 serial #

    I recently purchased a set of Titleist AP1 712 irons with the serial # appearing on the Titleist security label. The serial number has repeating 0's, which appears to contradict the following:

    2. Unique serialized number: Each label will feature a unique serialized number that can be found under the words "Certified Authentic" which can be found in the middle of the label. This unique number will not repeat.

    Are these clubs genuine since they have a repeating serial #?

    Hi Andy,

    To clarify the unique serialized number that is associated with authentic products, this refers to the entire serial number. Meaning, that once a serial number has been issued, it will not be issued again. There may be repeating numbers within a unique serial number.

    In terms of determining the authenticity of your equipment, your best bet to ensure you purchase authentic Titleist equipment is to always buy from an authorized Titleist golf shop.
