I just ordered one of the Scotty Cameron Newport 2.6 putters. I've read that a face balanced putter is probably best for a "straight back and straight through" putting stroke, which is what I have. Is that putter face balanced?
Thanks,Walter Jones

Yes, centers shafted putters are face balanced.

Nope...the simple way to tell is to balance the putter on the end of your index finger...if the putter face stays parallel to the ground it is "Face Balanced"....of the toe dips toward the ground then it's not....If I remember correctly the Kombi-S is the closest.

Hi Walter, It is a near face balanced putter which is good for a straight back and through type of putting stroke. The others in that category are the GoLo S and the California Fastback
