An ideal warm up for me is to arrive at the practice area one hour before tee time. I start with some stretches and then chip to targets on the chipping green. I then move further back and hit some short pitch shots, some out of thick rough and some from fairway cut. I finish the short game with 5 shots out of the greenside bunker. Then on to the practice range. Make a few short pitches 30-50 yarders with my gap wedge and then hit a few full shots with the same club. Then I hit my 8,5,hybrid and driver. I end my warm up on the putting green. I try to finish where I have time to mark a couple of balls, turn on my golf watch and put away my car keys, bill fold and cell phone in my golf bag. I do all of the above and I'm ready to play my best.
