    Hey everyone,

I went outside today to get something from my car and it was perfectly sunny, 70 degrees and the leaves were all the shades of fall colors. I can't tell you how badly I wanted to tee it up.

I know fall is the favorite golf season for many of us around the country, so I wanted to see if anyone has any pictures or wanted to share some stories of their golf adventures during this time of year. Any low rounds? Beautiful courses?

I know my favorite place to be in the fall is our Manchester Lane Test facility. Surrounded by countless trees in the middle of small-town New England, it is the epitome of fall golf

We look forward to hearing your stories.

    Talk soon.

Lived 10 years near New Bedford, yes fall golf in New England is spectacular.  Fall is in the air here in the Ohio Valley.  This is a great time to be out on the course.  I'm playing 18 a day and really enjoying the game this year.  Here is me and my 4 year old grandson last weekend getting in a game, as of tomorrow I'll have played this course 150 times this year so retirement is a good thing.  The leaves are starting to turn here which makes a game even more enjoyable but of course it also means the best of the season here is about over.  Off to play one of Ohio's most popular next week at Longaberger which will be an adventure, then me and the wife move to Alabama sometime this winter to play the Robert Trent Jones Trail until spring.  Looking forward to replacing that 913 with the 915 here in a few weeks, may have to head south for a weekend to try it out.

Would love to be at Manchester Lane!

How about we get some TeamTitleist Members to commit to a tee time sometime within the next week? Any takers! I just want to play! I love this game and one of the best parts is...I get to drive a Titleist!

It's just right in Mid TN for golf right now!!!

  5. Fall golf in Ohio is fantastic...Friday was a gorgeous day in the sun however a little wind.  As many of you know, one day makes a difference Saturday was 20 degrees cooler with more wind and no sun though! Ugh!!  However, yesterday, the Moeller HS Golf Team won Ohio's Div 1 Championship many using Titleist Irons, Scotty putters and of course Titleist Balls! oh, and lots of winter hats and gloves!

It was a slow day at work today which gave me plenty of time to spend daydreaming of my next round.  But don't worry, I didn't only daydream, I also got caught up on all my TT news and stories.  The TT golf day at Catigny looked amazing. Especially getting to sample all the 915 candy.

My lowest round of the year was last weeks even par. Thanks in part to the new Titleist 'Test" ball.It  was a very satisfying to execute well both mentally and physically.  I birdied the par 5 18th after a perfect drive and second which left me a very makable 15 foot eagle putt. It would have been nice to make that putt...  I  left the course that day with an overwhelming happiness and satisfaction, but also a burning desire to return.  I'm now counting the hours until this sundays  tee time. Fall golf is always great.

Bubba,as for Manchester Lane, I've only been there once for my club fitting. I understand why you love it so much, its a beautiful secluded golf haven. you're a lucky man.  Oh, and if you see Troy tell him to get some yellow balls.  The ground will soon be white with frost here and those californians aren't used to New England.

Hey Bubba, just a fun pic of our Company's Golf Outing at "Bristol Harbour CC" in Canandaigua NY.  We were playing a two man

scramble on the back nine and while enjoying some refreshments after the hole, my partner left his ball on the fringe (since we played my putt)  But it was a beautiful fall day about 50 and sunshine, perfect fall golf in the Finger Lakes Region. We try and play untill it snows, most courses are punching greens , so the fee's are low and the scenery is exceptional

Fall, or at least what we call Fall in Texas is finally here.  Still in the low to mid 80's in the afternoon but the low humidity is a blessing. Great early morning rounds when it's still in the low 70's...the temp not my score.  Only thing we are lacking is the changing colors of the trees.  Keep the pictures coming.

***Is it November 14th yet?  Come on Fed-Ex man.

Probably my favorite time of year in New England. I appreciate every round I'm able to play but this certainly gets amplified right about now as we never know when Winter is going to roll in. Every weekend could be the last weekend of the season... Had a blast this past Sunday dew sweeping at Red Tail.

Hoping the snow stays away for a long time.

Love Red Tail! The course conditions are typically always in pretty good condition! I always enjoy playing Red Tail; the Par 5 4th Hole is site of my 1st and only Albatross.  It was a warm, sun swept day after busting a drive and I have 186 yards blind uphill approach. Took a 5 iron and soon as I hit it, I said it aloud to my playing partners..."I flushed it!" with a twirl of the club.  Got to the green and was upset because I didn't see my ball anywhere on or around the green.  I was on tilt thinking how can you hit a laser of shot and can't find my ball.  My playing partner said check the hole and viola, there lay my trusty Titleist Pro V1.

After the Cantigny event.  I traveled to Appleton, WI. and got to play Ridgeway CC with Tyler Higley.  It is an amazing course with postage stamp greens that are hard as ice.  Enjoyed the couple of rounds there and watching the Packers game in the clubhouse afterwards.

We refer to them as "Tournament Firm", for those of you at Cantigny same a touch faster and firmer than the front nine. They definitely require a variety of shots and a premium is place on good ball striking and hitting fairways.

It was a blast being able to tee it up with Tim for 2 rounds following the Team Titleist Event.

I am hopeful that I will get a few more rounds in before the weather turns and the white stuff flies and I have to fly south to get some golf in.

Love fall golf.  The courses seem to be in great shape this time of year..  The only downside, is trying to find your balls under the leaves...

Played a few weeks ago in a tournament up in Laconia, NH Pheasant Ridge Golf course.  My buddy Dave swinging away...

Played yesterday up in York, ME at the Ledges golf course. with Josh G. aka Hotsauce and Bryan DeLONNNNGGGG (dude can hit a mile, fun to watch)..  A  lot of fun as always but we all struggled putting..  On the 19th hole we learned they had a member-member tournament earlier in the day where they played from the red (ladies) tees but all the pins were placed in the toughest location.  I'll tell you, they did a damn good job of that...

This course and Portsmouth Country Club are a MUST PLAY if you're ever visiting the New England area along the Seacoast.  2 of my favorites.

Here's Hotsauce on the 8th hole, downhill Par 3 199..

    Cheers to Fall golf!

Fall is now in full effect in the Cleveland area, OH.

Played both days this weekend at StoneWater Golf Club: Saturday was a miserable day weather-wise with 45 degrees, rain and 20 mph winds... tough playing conditions

Sunday was just the perfect fall day: coloured trees all around, sunny skies and just a little breeze. Enjoyed every moment of it and can't wait for next weekend to come and do it all over again!

Fall golf is great, as long as you keep it out of the leaves!  Played in an invitational yesterday with Chris H.  Nice day, great course, but steady 15+ mph winds all day.  Throw in some greens that roll much faster than I'm used to, and scoring wasn't in the cards for me.  I believe I 3-jacked at least 4 greens and missed some ridiculously short par putts to boot.  Oh well, it was still a lot of fun to get out and play with a fellow TT member.

Getting out on a cool fall day is always great.  Played at The Missouri Bluffs yesterday and as usual the course was in great shape, but a little soft still after all the rain from last week. We're a bit past peak for color and the leaves are definitely starting to drop, so balls in the rough were sometimes hard to find.  Overall though, still a great day!

So many nice course and wish I could play them all! From what I have seen for info showing there are about 17,000 golf courses in America! So if one were to play 2 courses a day, everyday; it would take just over 23 years to play them all - assuming you could get access or a tee time and weather cooperation. Not 100% sure on the numbers of courses but that would be amazing!

Here in northeast Ohio leaves on the ground this time of the year can be a problem so throughout the year I save up my "used" Titleist golf balls so I won't lose new ones under the leaves. Played 18 today and those old Titleist balls performed so well I never even came close to losing any in the leaves. Sweet!

Great pictures posted by all! I am itching to play; feel like I have the itch everyday! There is just no game like Golf! There is so many emotions that a golfer feels in an 18 hole round. 18 holes just goes by far too quickly!

To follow up on Josh's post, it was a lot of fun playing last Friday at Portsmouth CC with Josh G. and Googs (aka Bryan DeGugs)..  The rain had just ended the day before, cloudy with a little wind and hardly anyone on the course but us..  Just a perfect day for Fall..  Then a few good beers and laughs on the 19th hole..

May i mention Josh and Googs had a very good match going on and it was a lot of fun to watch...  Who won?  Tied.. on the last hole....  Good stuff...

Googs ripping it like he does best...  Portsmouth CC 12th hole, Par 4

Josh also ripping it down the middle..  Portsmouth CC 12th hole, Par 4

I found a couple more good ones from PCC.

Here's a pic of Googs' epic par on the Par 3.  I thought I had him- until he made this putt.

    The foliage was unreal.

    Here's Speedy lagging one close.

    Hi Everyone,

Thanks for sharing all of the photos and stories. Sounds like Fall golf is a favorite amongst many of us.

In my original post I mentioned that our Titleist Manchester Lane test facility is my favorite place in the world during the fall, so I thought I would share some pictures with all of you so you could see what I was talking about. Working there for over five years was truly a privilege.

Hope everyone is able to get a few more rounds in before the end of the season!

    Take care,

Great fall pictures, thanks to all for sharing. After looking at all of the pictures I really miss the fall colors back in Indiana where I grew up. We are still pretty warm down in Dallas, but things are supposed to cool off this weekend. At least I don't have to worry about losing my ball under a leaf yet this season! Enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful fall colors... I am jealous for sure!

Living in San Diego, there really isn't much "fall" to contend with. While year-round golf is a wonderful thing, I do miss seeing the leaves changing colors and eventually falling to mark the end of the year and the impending renewal of life.

With that said, our golf club has 4 majors a year, one of which is the "Summer" Classic. The tournament used to be held every August, but over the course of many years, due to various reasons, the tournament kept getting pushed further and further back, until it was norm to play our "Summer" Classic in October.

For the first time ever, it is being held in November due to a lot of scheduling conflict during the month of October, but I always look forward to this event. Good company coupled with good (hopefully) golf is always something to look forward to. Our "Summer" Classic is a time-honored tradition that is now realized during the fall season for us in our club.

Tomorrow is Halloween, and golf is winding down in Southern Ontario. Unfortunately, they punched the greens at my home course a few weeks ago, and claimed it was too wet to top dress. Consequently, I have been using golfnow to play courses that still have good greens. Played Listowel last Thursday, and I have played Innerkip Highlands twice in the past week. Today it was about 45 degrees farenheit, or 10 degrees Celicus. Greens were in excellent shape. As I said to my playing partner, we will be quick today as the only guys still out are diehards and idiots. I like to think we are the former, not the later. The trees still have about 50% of their leaves, and the greens were as good as anywhere in the middle of summer. Hopefully, we still get a few more games in.
