Hey guys, I just want to say how awesome this initiative started by golfs leaders is. I coach the local high school team, and a freshman on my team was able to make it all the way to a regional championship held at Oakmont Country Club!
I made the trip with him and his family, his brother is a senior on the team. Oakmont welcomed everyone with open arms. Those kids hitting ball on the range and greens that all of our games great have! I watched the majority of the competition, and it was just awesome to see these young kids competing!
The members of Oakmont should be proud of how that day went for those kids! The usga, pga and The Masters made them feel like tour stars! We soaked it all in, enjoyed the day and Greg will have a memory of a lifetime! Anyone that has kids young enough to compete in the DCP, you really should check it out. So much positive happening!
