Saw a set of 3 Vokey wedge covers on Ebay. Didn't know they made 'em. I'm not one for iron covers, but not a bad idea. They were neat looking.

I'm not a big fan of the iron covers but wedge covers don't sound too bad. what's the design?

Yup, I'm not a fan of iron covers either. I'm sure they're fake anyway...

My Vokeys are my "beater" clubs..
Rocks, and pebbles under the pine straw... nasty lies.. Bring out the Vokeys.. Beat 'em and wipe 'em off.. I don't have a clue why anyone would want a wedge cover.

I agree...not sure why you would want a wedge cover, but I'm not really a fan of iron covers.

I use a set of iron covers for my AP1's and my Vokey 58.08 but I only use them getting to and from the course and for when I travel. I want to keep my sticks looking as good as possible, but I don't use them on the course. I love the sound of the bag chatter. I purchased a set of "Titleist" (at least they have the logo on them) from amazon for $19 last year.
Also not a fan of covers. "Let 'em clang". Love that sound!!

just my two cents, I paid a great deal of hard earned money for every set of irons i own, and my 27 year old blades up to my 2 year old ap2 and every set in between looks like new. Except for the face, which you can see the ball marks on the them, they look great!! I am proud of my clubs, worked hard for them(27 yrs Army retired) and take great pride in them. Again, just my two cents!
I worked hard for ANYTHING I buy, but clubs are meant to be banged into the ground. Contact WILL happen, and I play everything as it lies unless I'm in the middle of a rock garden or something and KNOW I will hurt myself.
My cars and trucks cost more than any golf clubs I've bought, but I'm not pulling over and wiping bug goo off the hood, or buffing out scratches every weekend from driving it to work during the week. It's made to be used, and with that, will wear over time.
To each his own though.. Some people like to feel they are prolonging the eventual worn out clubs, and protecting an investment. To me, anything golf related is far from an investment! More like a money hole that I love!
Some people keep their couch covered in plastic... To each his own. I guess that's why they make iron covers.
