The season is in full swing, so we thought it would be a good time for a quick check-in with all of you to see which Titleist golf ball you've been teeing up this season. Let us know in the quick poll below.

As always, we'd love to hear any feedback about your ball - especially if you're playing a different model than before - or even stories about an amazing shot you've hit this season. So don't forget to add a comment to this thread.

We can't wait to see what you all have to say!

I switched to the Left Dash a couple of months ago after reading more about it from fellow TT members. I previously played the Pro V1x. One of my biggest challenges is I'm not very good with the driver in my hand and create way too much sidespin.

I had tried the AVX previously and while I liked it, it ran out too much for my tastes. The Left Dash gives me the best of both worlds, the lower driver spin and the higher trajectory I prefer with the Pro V1x. It's not that there are a bunch of "great shots" that stick out, more that the Left Dash is making my game a bit easier with it being a little longer than the Pro V1x for me.
  3. Don’t think it’s the ball , rather then your club / or swing .sometimes if you slow up on your swing and SQUARE THE CLUB you will get better results
  4. The velocity does all for me

I switched to velocity because of the high spin on both AVX and ProV1.
I need distance and the 2 pice ball provides it. Higher spin is not helpful.
Also has slowed my back swing to load better.
  6. For me I believe that Titelist ball are the best in each class, however the Vx1 works best for me. Gives me good distance and excellent results in my intermediate shots including on the green. It makes my game more enjoyable and I find it gives ne more confidence when playing.
  7. same for me, love this ball!!

I am a ProV1x guy. I knew I needed to switch from the ProV1 for several years but just could not get used to the firmer feel, especially on putts. Well, when we had the Vokey Short Game outing at Pinehurst and they did the ball comparisons with driver, 7 iron, and wedge, it convinced me to make the switch. It took a few months to adjust but I was glad I did. Even better news as the latest model ProV1x seems to feel a bit more softer while still giving me the height and spin I need. Great ball for me. Thanks for asking.
  12. Similarly took quite a while to change from V1 but with slight change to grip and positive thoughts without tighter grip I am seeing more height and stop with V1x

I was going with Pro V1x till I had a driver fitting a few weeks ago. The Titleist fitter thought the left dash would be a good fit for me and asked if I had tried that ball out. I told him I had not tried it yet so he went out to his car and gave me a half a dozen to try. I tried it out and I really like that ball, for me I hit it higher and get a little more carry distance that with the Pro V1x.

For my skill level this ball seems to work very well and when my shots stray it isn't quite as painful.
  15. ProV1x. Just like the trajectory and distance plus it spins pretty good on full wedges. I can't seem to get great stops on partials but that's almost assuredly me.

ProV1 fanatic... Dumped the X because the flight was too high in combination with me already hitting a high ball. And the ProV1 feels like a cotton ball on putts!

Just really like the overall feel of the V1, don't see any reason to change.

I have switched to the new 2021 Pro v1x. The ball fits me better. Titleist is always improving an already great ball.

At the Vokey short game experience I was fitted for the ProV1X , so I have stuck with it

Playing the X at the moment...but mess with the Left Dash and Prov1.
All are great balls....Loving the X...long off the tee and great green side action.

Playing the 2021 Pro V1 & am very impressed with how it plays VS the 2017's & 2019's I still had. Love the spin around the greens & how soft off the driver it feels with a penetrating ball flight I really like playing.

Even my virtual fitting recommended the Pro V1 for my game so win win all around.

  22. I too have recently made the switch to the ProV1x Left Dash. I had played the regular ProV1x for years, and had already ordered my Titleist Loyalty buy 3 get 1 free when I was being fit for a full new bag TSi3 driver, 3-wood and hybrid to go with T100S irons and SM8s when the fitter asked me about the ball I was using. Based on numbers, he suggested I give the Left Dash a try, so went and bought a dozen and haven’t turned back. The 4 dozen ProV1x’s are still in the box, but the Left Dash seems to be the best ball for my game.

Every time I go through a fitting, my fitter re-confirms that the Pro V1x is the right ball for me.

It started with subjective testing at Bandon. On well-struck shots, I was holding greens better. Over the winter got a ball fitting at my local Premier site. The carry distance was the same on wedges/short irons, but with the added spin, the roll out was less. I can adjust for club distance but the control on the greens is indispensable. I'm getting up and down more from around the greens, with fewer putts as a result.

Had been playing the Tour Soft but when I stopped loosing so many balls, I went to the AVX because of the softer feel and lower ball flight. After testing the new Pro V1 this year, I have decided to put it into play because of the slightly higher spin on approach shots. Eventually I would like to go to a ball fitting to see if my assumptions are good enough or if I need to be playing a different ball.

Was fitted for the Prov1 many years ago. Always ensure when I am doing a fitting for clubs that Prov1s are available at the fitting as well. Have never regretted it. Only ball in my bag the year round because they perform well for me. Think it will be close between the 1 and the X.

I still play the Pro V1 as my go-to ball because I like what it gives me, like the lower ball flight for the windy weather we normally have, and that is what I voted for. To add to it, the spin has been pretty good and sometimes too good :-)
Recently, I bought a box of Left Dash Pro V1x to try and I am enjoying a few yards longer although I am not quite sure about the short game part of it yet- it is different from the Pro V1. I've been playing it in different course conditions so I just need to play it a little more to see for myself.

I'm still playing my remaining 2019 Pro V1x'es. Once those are gone, I'll move on to my 2021 stash of Pro V1x.

I've played the ProV1 for probably 10 years - have often thought about doing some side-by-side testing with V1X, but course I was playing at had fast greens so extra spin was good. Not playing a ton right now so don't think it would be a good time to do that testing...maybe next year!

Ryan, the old original ProV1x were low spinning compared to the ProV1. Now the ProV1x is the highest spinning ball. It might be worth getting a few of the new ones and doing some short-game testing around those fast greens to see if you get a bit more hold and can also land them softer with the higher trajectory on full shots. Either ball of course, is a great choice. Have fun out there.
