First time in a month. Range is closed, so I spend some time on the practice green. Got to hitting pretty good around the green.
It was still kinda cold. Normally I play the back when playing 9 holes. Most people think the back is harder, I think it is easier. The back drains better, so less mud. Plus its easier to keep the ball near the cart path when its cart paths only.
Hole 10, 3 tries to get off the tee, using 3 wood(no tee). First flew about a ft and a half off the ground, second about ft, and hit the front tee marker, 3 rd about 4ft up and about 200y in the fairway. 6 iron to 4 ft, 1 putt for a cheater birdie.
Hole 11, driver left side, just what i wanted. 2nd tried a fade with 3w, might be lost, hit another straight down the fairway, find the first in mud. about 50y to green pw to about 15ft, 2 putt.
hole 12, 3 balls off the tee, missed the green with all 3, bogey, bogey, par.
Hole 13, driver just right of center, 5i right of green, pitch up 2 putt.
Hole 14, driver to right side(intended cart path on right side), 7i 20ft right of hole, 2putt(2nd putt was 1/2 inch).
Hole 15, driver draw down right side, 7 iron about 10ft past hole, 2 putt.
Hole 16, 6i hole high, just off right side, chip and putt.
hole 17, elected to not play(mud).
Hole 18, driver down left side, wanted center-right side but no problem, 3w short, pw to about 12ft, 1 putt.
Not hitting the ball great, but much better than expected.
The 907D1 10.5* reg flex is working out great. I pick it up after a month and its like I was hitting it yesterday.
Maybe the 907 is better than the 983K.
