Who would dare part with a TT shirt?

I know I woulldn't give mine up. I've worn mine once andwill wear it again this summer or if the weather warms up here enough to wear it on the range. But that is the only time I intend to wear it as I don't go out looking like a refugee from the rag bag. . Will say this though, it has been commented on by several that have seen it and want one. NOT GOING TO GET MINE.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shouldn't really be surprised, I believe someone was selling the test balls on ebay.

Thats the stuff that ruins contests and give aways.

Flippers, D@mn you! I can't say I'm surprised, and I'm sure he's got his reasons, but I treasure my TT shirt. I'll wear till it looks like swiss cheese. It's like re-gifting a wedding present in front of the couple that gave it to you.
It just isn't right...

This is a violation of everything we stand for!

Very bad. Why someone would do that is beyond me.

Seller said it was given to him at a Driver fitting at the PGA show. I wonder how many were given out ?
I thought these were for TT members only! Oh well.

I wish you could find out who it is and remove them as a member of TT. Someone that does that doesn't deserve to be a member.
Hi Mike
Thanks for the positive response. Glad TT members at the fitting were given a TT shirt. Not something most of us would sell, but like you say, not much can be done.
Always a pleasure
Yeah it's tough for sure. It's your shirt you can do what you want with it, but its borderline sacrilegious in my opinion.

Yeah, some "member" did list some test balls for sale online. Completely ridiculous! And a shirt...wow. People will do anything for a $1 these days. This really does upset me...A LOT! I agree with the other member(s)...if it's ever found out who these people are that are listing these items online...they should be banned from the Team. No prizes. Nothing. I'm ashamed to even think that there members out there who would do this!
The shirt was supposedly given out at the PGA show. The Test Balls are really inexcusable. Those lucky enough to receive a sleeve were given these balls to test them for Titleist. Titleist did us a favor and we were supposed to do them one in return. I really can't believe someone who's a member here would rather make 10 bucks than test golf products that only a handful of people got. Some people have it all wrong...
I am beginning to agree with many members of Team Titleist in that something should be done to control the sale of the items we receive from the Team. Especially testing goods which are given for the express purpose of testing and not to be sold at a later date for any reason. I thoroughly enjoy those times when I have been selected to test a product under development and had not even thought of trying to sell those specific items. The same applies to those items that we received at Christmas. It may be time for Acushnet, our Team Titleist guru, to place specific limitations on those things for testing, ie; confidentiality agreement that would not allow any release or sale of those items sent or the return of the item or items after testing. I know that I have been able to test products from other companies and there are agreements which must be signed which restrict usage and, in some cases, require return of the product.
It would be hard to restrict the eventual usage of the gifts, but that said, if the party that does sell the items received is discovered, they could be banned from further participation in our forums and removed from the members of Team Titleist.
Just some thoughts from someone who respects our Team and its goals.

TEAM MEMBERS, I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A SOLUTION TO THE PERSON OR PERSONS WHO LIKE TO SELL THEIR GIFTS THAT THEY RECEIVE FROM TITLEIST. WHEN THEY PUT THEM ON EBAY WHY DON'T ONE OF US, WHO IS A MEMBER PURCHASE THE ITEM AND THEN WHEN WE RECEIVE IT WE'LL HAVE THE NAME OF THE PERSON WHO SOLD IT ON EABY AND THAN WE CAN RELAY IT TO TITLEIST SO THEY CAN BE TAKEN OFF THE TEAM MEMBERSHIP LIST. WE CAN HAVE TITLEIST SEND ALL MEMBERS A EMAIL STATEING THIS. SO ALL WILL BE AWARE OF THIS TAKING PLACE AND MAYBE STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. WE'LL EXPOSE THE UNGRATEFULL PERSON. IT SOUNDS HARSH BUT DO WE NEED PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF TITLEIST LIKE THIS? I SAY NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually thought about buying it so thatan actual team titliest member would still own the shirt. I think there is no reason for someone to sell the test balls. Titliest gave those lucky people a chance to TEST the product and submit feedback so they can make better products. I do agree that anyone found to be selling items that were given as gift or to test should not be able to recieve any in the future. I would like to thank titliest again for the chance to win free gifts and test items.
Looks like gatordozer got a deal on a 910 too.

So I have been a TT member for a few months now. In the last few months I have purchased Titleist AP1 irons, A Scotty Cameron Putter, A Vokey 58.08 wedge, switched to ProV1x golf balls, and numerous hats, shirts, towels, etc.
I did not get a TT shirt. I would love one and would not sell it for anything. How can I get one? Is this something you are supposed to get when you become a TT member?
I am going to The Masters this year and will be totally sporting everything Titleist. I am a walking commercial!!

hi Mike

GREAT SITE

I really like mine and wouldn't part with it. It's really hard to get t-shirts, golf shirts and other gear with the Titleist brand on it unless you are on tour or work with Titleist, so I wouldn't sell anything. But, if you can make a buck or two by selling it on ebay, then someone will do it. It happens all the time with the Scotty Cameron stuff. To each his own.
Elliott STucson, AZ
That is unbelievable, a complete shame. Some people would really love one of those shirts like myself then you have people who win contests and just put on ebay. Really unfortunate.
it's sad to see that even when given something free, that other people would love to own, someone would put a price on it!!! i only hope that the person who did this is not desperate for money and needed to do this. but than again how much does the person think he can get for it? sorry world we live in!!!!
It appears Titleist is missing out on big profit, the t-shirt sold for $54 + $9 shipping.
James BSan Antonio, TX
I have seen several TT items on ebay. I guess you can't stop someone for selling items that were ginev to them but if TT can find out who is selling them I say take them off the SWAG list and dont let them enter contests. The TT items should be for us members that take it serious and wear the TT logo's with pride !!!

Agree with the comment, but would probably be hard to police.
Matthew GEwing, NJ
It is hard to police, I wouldnt be opposed to paying a fee for TT and receiving a "membership kit" of some sort. The way it is now, with very few TT things out there makes it really neat to be apart of the group.
I wish I saw that earlier, I would have paid $54 for that T shirt.
JonderdonkColleyville, TX
That's a disgrace toTT. I would never give up a hat, shirt, or test balls if I got any.
