A few weeks ago Mike asked me to submit some info about myself along with some pictures of my what's in my bag and how I mark my golf ball (ProV1x). The reason was for them to present some spotlight members of Team Titleist at the sales meeting in Naples. According to Mike it was a success and as a token of appreciation on my door step today was a dozen Ltd Edition Team Titleist ProV1x balls. Also there was a note indicating that there will be a Team Titleist Canadian module in the near future to give all of us north of the border a chance to participate in surveys, contests and pre launch announcements.

I just wanted to say thanks to Mitch and Mike and everyone else at Titleist!

Another reason why Titleist is such a great brand with such a loyal following.

I've subscribed to "newsletters" from other golf companies that specialize in wedges (they sent me a johnny walker bottle label, why I have no idea?!?!) and one that makes really ugly drivers (they sent me a free 6 iron to compare to my current iron.  Needless to say it underperformed, and I gave it away to a friend who wanted to try it.) but they've always felt more like sales pitches than actual fan appreciation items/ company newsletters.  I've always felt like just another golfer with a wallet to these companies, which is why I chose to support Titleist.

I spend most of my disposable income on golf, and I want to spend it with company that cares about it's products, cares about the game, and cares about its customers.  Team Titlesit is a testament to that.  They send members balls, t shirts, hats, host contests, and keep us up to date with Tour players and Titleist employees alike.  They even dropped us a note about fortune brands and the selling of/compartmentalizing of Acushnet.  It's just awesome to see a company that's so transparent and accessible to it's fans.  So thanks to Mike and everyone at Team Titleist.  Please keep this website and this company heading in the same direction.

    Matt,

Great story.  I was also profiled as a Team Titleist member.  I'm glad that our Canadian brothers got a dozen Pro V1s.  Seeing as I am located in the U.S., I received a 910 driver, a set of AP2s, a Scotty Cameron 009 and a staff bag with my name and "Team Titliest" embroidered on it.  I was amazed that I got so much for helping with the TT project.  Good to hear that you got a prize too.

Before everyone goes nuts, I am kidding.  But all of that stuff is on my wish list if anyone at Titleist wants to send me a birthday gift.  :)

Deno and Josh - don't tell anyone, but I am Santa and the Easter Bunny at my house.  So, you're telling me to go out and buy my own gear.  Ha, Ha.  A guy can always ask for cool stuff, right?

Like Memphis, I too am Santa, tooth fairy, etc.     I like to have my own holidays when it is warm.  Maybe we should come up with a golf holiday.   Golfmas, The 12 days of Linkmas, something along those lines.

Glad to hear that you recieved a prize up in Canada. I have noticed people in other countries wish they could participate in the contests, and it is awesome to hear you were able to get something for your loyalty.

memphis-that is a good wish list, maybe the easter bunny will bring you something in your easter basket, lol
