It has been two years since Team USA and Team Europe squared off at Whistling Straits, and after a convincing victory by Team USA... there is no doubt that Team Europe will be looking to take back the Ryder Cup on home soil and preserve their 30-year-long "home course" advantage.

And regardless where your allegiances may reside, we thought it would be fun to see which team you all have hoisting the Ryder Cup on Sunday.

Will it be Team USA retaining the cup? Or will it be Team Europe with the bounce back?

I believe Team USA will retain the cup, but it won't be a blow out like Whistling Straits. It's going to be fun to watch.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on day 1 pairings? I am personally shocked to see Koepka sitting out. Perhaps the captains strategy is to give him his rest now to use him down the stretch?

I’m going way out on the limb. The team that puts the bet wins.

As much as I would prefer to see the US retain the Cup, I have a feeling the European squad may just be able to pull of the "upset" and take it back. The US squad is a very good one, but I'm not sure they will be able to overcome the crowds and the atmosphere in Rome. Looking forward to a great event, with lots of exciting action, whichever team comes out on top.
  10. Obviously pulling for USA, but team Europe is loaded this year.

Not sure the "good old boys club" from Jupiter will be able to hold off the Europeans.

Hate to go with the Blue and 'Yeller.... Home turf and they putt better! (Think Zach's picks and going to come back and ate him) :-(

Agree with Todd. Let's hope the first day is not an indicator. The Euros sure look strong. The thing I like about the Euros is they are not afraid to tee it up and play it anywhere and are pretty good course managers. Luke was talking about even slowing down the greens. They are running only 10-11 today. Think we may have overlooked some players that may have helped us at home. Go USA, but I enjoy seeing great golf. Ole, ole, ole, prove me wrong Capt Zach.

As much as I want Team USA to retain the cup, I went with EU to win. Their young guns are just on fire right now and with their lights out putting, I think they win it. May not be easy, I expect the singles matches to be tight, but I just don't think you can bet against Team Europe right now.

It's going to be an uphill (up-mountain?) fight for the USA to even be in it this time tomorrow after managing to take only 1.5 points, and with late leads in three afternoon sessions. Ugh.

Europe is putting a beat down on us so far. USA better turn it around fast.

Well played Team Europe. They earned and deserved it.

Well, I sure didn’t expect the result. Ouch!

The US was behind to start each session and in a majority of matches compared to the Euros, they were 1 down after the first hole. In this format, hot starts usually end favorably for that team.
