Should you play a high flight ball like 1x when conditions are wet and soft. Higher flight is asking for a plugged ball and greens are soft enough you really don't need spin.

Experts recommend you always stick with the same ball and just adjust for the conditions of the day. There are almost always variables like wet, cold, hot, windy, dry, that impact the shots you play. A big part of the game is adjusting to these and even the way you may be striking the ball on any given day.

If greens are real wet and soft, most balls will be checking up and possibly sticking. Just hit the ball lower and let it run up.

You'll get embedded ball relief, so go ahead and attack the pins.

I was always told to play your ball and adjust your strategy for the conditions.

I'm in the same camp as Dale. I always play the same ball regardless of conditions.
