  1. We've had a nasty old-fashioned winter in NY this year, cold and snow like we haven't seen in a while. Really looking forward to the snowpack going away and chasing the pill. Trouble is; while shoveling 2" of slush off the driveway, I messed up my left shoulder. Hopefully will get a good report from the doc this week. At least I can still practice putting. Anybody else feel like a thoroughbred in the starting gate?

After falling from a patch of black ice, 6 broken ribs and a creaking left shoulder later, I’m more concerned about a trip to the glue factory than a run for the roses.

I do want to shout out to my TPI M3 certified chiropractor. He is a great help in getting me back into the game.

Definitely! While the winters have been relatively mild the last few years here are n Mass, I’m getting spoiled and I’m ready to get back out there. Temps have been in the low 50s the last few days. I’m really hoping for a warm March and open courses.

Dang Don, that ice is not something to take lightly. Guys our age need to stay off it. Hope that you are doing better. Believe it or not we had snow here in Charleston and I stayed inside. Paid some local kids to clear my driveway. Took them most of the day, it was solid ice. Believe me, we are not as young as we think we are, so stay away from that ice, pal. You guys up there are a tough bunch. =)

Yeah our winter doesn't seem to want to end either. Played only once since the beginning of the year. Course probably shouldn't have let anyone out. Frozen for the first 7-8 holes and a sloppy mess the rest. Warmer weather in our 10 day outlook. Hoping to get out next week.

57 years in NYC and the Metro area before retiring to FL. I hated winter and don't miss it at all. Hey Don, come on down here and forget that black ice.
