2011 Titleist lightweight cart bag

    I just purchased a new lightweight cart bag, with a personalization ( name on one side). A couple of complaints, first it took over 6 weeks to embroider my name on the side???, secondly the bag is advertised as being specifically designed to fit in all motorized cart wells. My club has fairly new Club Car carts and the bag definitely does not fit into the well! Other than the bottom of the bag not fitting into all carts, I do love everything else about the design. Titleist got it right with the reverse top cuff design, makes access to the clubs much easier in a motorized cart environment. The numerous grab handles and hidden strap make handling a breeze!

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated. As you can imagine, golf cart designs evolve as do golf bag designs and unfortunately there are no industry standards for golf cart brackets or “wells.”  We do make a concerted effort to create an offering that does work easily with most prior and current model golf carts that are found on the course.

    However, it is possible that carts are updated after we've designed a product that fits in an existing well because development cycles are not always in sync.  To that end, we are working more closely with the golf cart manufacturers in an attempt to streamline our design specifications and requirements to mitigate these scenarios in the future.

    Wouldn't it be cool if the cart designers were made aware of the problem with carry bags fitting into the wells, and they came up with a solution for the cart to accommodate all bags.
