    I figured since it was only 35 days until the BMW Championship for the FED EX CUP finals here @ Cog Hill Dubs Dread course in the Chicago-Land area, I'd start this discussion amongst our Team Titlelist Members......

    First the Fed Ex Cup Finals are gonna be sweet and there is no doubt this venue is second favorite Fan viewing venue Chicago has to offer (Besides obviously our famed Medinah 2012 home of the Ryder Cup) and I know that the Majority of those TOP players will be part of the Titleist Team.

    Ryder Cup 2012~Medinah CC Ryder Cup 2012

    For those that have never been here or are coming out to Chicago.

    I was wondering our favorite players are coming to play if we could discuss the Best Public Courses in Chicago:

    ~~~~Note: Please answer honestly and use in the format 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. etc.  Thank you any comments welcome~~~~~~
    My Personal List (Public Courses) from top to bottom 2011.
        ~~~~~~I've excluded Cog Hill Dubsdread #4 (and some others) on purpose here although they should be in.  I"m trying to    tell others what to play if they are making the trip out here to see some truly wonderful golf action LIVE.~~~~~~~

    1. Cantigny Golf (Woodside-Lakeside courses) Wheaton, IL 27-Holes Cantigny Golf Course Website

        ~Review: One of the best all time courses here, when this course is in it's prime condition (they could make this into a PGA TOUR venue) it's awesome.  Pricey a little but well worth the experience. 3 9-Hole Gems and a Junior Course. TREES and FUNKY UNDULATIONS GALORE!!!!

    2.  Seven Bridges Golf Club Woodridge, IL 18-Holes Seven Bridges Golf Club

         ~Review:  By far on the toughest tracks in Chicagoland (public) but also a truly well manicured course....this one is for the golfers who really enjoy a true test of golf.  It can tick you off but at the same time make you feel like you hit one of the best shots of your life.  Awesome course, again a little pricey but they do have deals floating around. WATER!!!!!

    3. Big Run Golf Club Lockport, IL 18-Holes Big Run Golf Course

         ~Review: Cheaper than most great courses but it's Long and I mean LONG.....one of the most out in the middle of nowhere great course around here.  You will be challenged to every skill of your game from length to uneven lies to downhill/uphill true tests.  Love this course.  Right near Cog Hill.  LONG and TREES!

    4. Mistwood Golf Club Romeoville, IL Mistwood Golf Club

          ~Review: Ok so this one is really fun! It's open air for most of the time.  With tests of water to length and touch shots.  When the Greens are in good shape, they can really make a man think on even the 3 footers.  Love this for the price too...also close to Cog Hill.  Basically, if they had more money to put into the golf course it would be Tournament Quality. GOOD PRICE GOOD COURSE

    5. ~HIDDEN GEM~ Klein Creek Golf Club Winfield, IL Klein Creek Golf Club

         ~Review: Had to through this hidden gem in there as it's what I call my "home course".  Perhaps one of the best shorter courses that makes you put on your thinking cap.  Hidden in Winfield IL just off of 355 (one could sometimes see Kevin Streelman out here for a late night practice round in his home town) is one of the toughest tests in golf.  SHORT, you will not be hitting driver everytime off the tee on this one.  Bunkers Need a little work, but the greens are AMAZING. Medium Price GEM

    I hope you all like the suggestions if you ever get out here.  I'd love to hear more courses and lists of TOP 5 Chicago public from you all.  I left out a few and put in some wierd ones on purpose.....for the discussion.....
