I replaced my 3-iron with a 21 degree 910H. Absolutely love it.

I've replaced my 3 and 4 irons.  Thinking about replacing the 5 iron too.  The hybrids are just so much easier to hit.

I replaced my 3 iron with a 21 degree hybrid and just love it. I had no problem hitting the 3 iron on the short grass but I could not use it when I had a long shot from the rough where as with the hybrid it was no problem. Personally if you are considering a hybrid with a loft lower than 20 degrees I would consider a 4 or 5 fairway wood.
