    I would just like to share with my fellow Team members the exceptional trip I had to Lake George, NY this fall. Stayed at the Sagamore Resort in Boltan Landing, an outstanding resort managed by Opal Resorts which also has the Samoset in Rockland ME, which is another story of excellence. This stay gives you access to the Sagamore golf course, a Donald Ross design in perfect condition. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains were amazing. Everything about my stay was top shelf, from the front desk to the golf course personnel. My wife cannot wait to go back as it is a relatively short drive from Southern New England.

    The Spa Course used to be a regular stop for us, haven't been in years. Saratoga National gets slammed in the Summer during track season as well.

    I played Sagamore many years ago. Loved the golf course. I played Samoset as well. That golf course is spectacular. There is a cottage on the left side of 15, that sits about 60-70 yards out in the ocean, with water on 3 sides. Just beautiful.

    Of note, the pro shop staff was impressive. I had signed up as a single, and the head pro grabbed one of the bag room staff to accompany me.

    That doesn't happen every day. Wonderful experience.

    My dad was a Summer member at Sagamore for years, beautiful property. Glens Falls CC right around the corner, a Top 20 in New York. You get a chance, Lake Placid is VERY GOOD as well. Lake Placid Club and Whiteface Inn are usually pristine in the Summer/Fall.
