I play the same shaft in all my irons - been doing this for 20 years. One less variable.

Honestly, with the the quality of Vokey Wedges, I stay with the Dynamic Gold S200 stock shaft. My theory is if Titleist is putting this shaft in their wedge then it must be the right fit for most of us. Hdcp Index 4.7

I've always played a little softer flex in my wedges. I play x100s in my irons and play s300's in my wedges

Go with what feels the best for you. I have always liked the same shaft in my irons and wedges. I kind of view my wedges as an extension of my iron set. I like the consistency it provides me. Good luck!

-BTW...my 3 Vokey jet black SM7’s are my favorite clubs in my bag. They are my scoring clubs. So much fun to play and practice with!

Wedge Flex from the 42 down. Irons are Project X Rifle 5.5

First question my pro asked me when I had my first wedge fitting a few weeks ago, "what shaft are you playing?" He recommended keeping the same one. Like you, I'm playing Project X, but 6.5.

Mine just came in last week, but due to poor weather, I haven't been able to game them yet and can't wait. Still looking like a slim chance of playing this weekend.

I play the same shafts as I have in my rest of my set, XP105 S 300, but my pro said I could go down one shaft for the wedges. Am going to get a fit for a new wedge at Pinehurst in April and see what the experts say. Best to check with your local Titleist fitter. My length and lie also match my other irons.

I play a softer shaft in my wedges than I do in the rest of the irons as the wedges are more feel shots. There is a pretty large disparity, I play X100 in my irons and S200 in my wedges. I went through a fitting a couple of years ago with Bob Vokey and he didn't change a thing with the shafts and confirmed it was not unusual to have a different shaft in your wedges. The differences are due primarily to the types of shots being played with each; full swings vs partial or finesse shots.

Get fit.. Have confidence in the shaft the fitter puts you in and save money from jumping shaft to shaft.

Get fit for your wedges!!!
I have had the same shafts in my wedges since the SM 5 Release.
KBS HI-REV 2.0's...super nice for my game.
