A former competitive player and Golf Magazine Top-100 teacher with over 40 years of experience, Tom Patri is a coach and mentor who carefully diagnoses students' needs, builds comprehensive improvement plans and guides players to success as they define it.
Tom Patri is the Director of Player Development at The Twin Eagles Club in Naples, FL. He is also the owner of TP Golf Schools in Naples, FL. A nationally recognized voice in golf instruction for over forty years, Tom is one of only two PGA members to be recognized as a PGA Section Teacher of the Year in both the MET & South Florida Sections. He has coached and mentored over 125 PGA & LPGA Professionals, collegiate and junior players who, combined, have won over 125 events.
As a player, Tom was an NCAA Division II First Team All-American selection in both 1980 and 1981 and in 1981 he triumphed as the NCAA Division II individual champion. He went on to play professionally on the South African Sunshine Tour as well as on the U.S. Mini Tours.
In 1986 Tom refocused his efforts on coaching and teaching the game to others. He has been named more than a dozen times to Golf Magazine's "Top 100 Teachers" list and since 2018, he has been recognized on Golf Digest's "Best Teachers in Florida" list.
A Titleist staff member since 1986, Tom is also the author of The Six-Spoke Approach to Golf.
