Labor Day evening 2021, my good friend Gary McCoy and I decided to end the holiday weekend by sneaking in nine holes of golf. We decided to play Riverbend golf course outside of Argllite Kentucky that evening. It was such a beautiful day we decided to walk. As we approached the third hole, a 154 yard par three, we left our bags at the green and walk back to the tee. The pin was three pieces off the back of the green, I hit a nine iron to the middle of the green and it rolled about 15 feet to the cup. I’ve been playing golf for 45 years, this was my first hole-in-one.
