I was in the USAF for 30 years 1978-2008. I first arrived Cheyenne Wyoming in May of 1979. When I wasn’t dispatching to the Missile Sites I would sit in my dorm room and read Golf Digest. Then I would go to the driving range and try to emulate everything I had read about. I’ve been playing golf for 45 years. Today, 5 Mar 2024 while playing golf with my son and friends at The Nest in West Palm Beach, on hole #14 playing approximately 171 yards, I hit a Titleist Pro V-1 golf ball with a number 2 and HardRock logo on it with my 6-iron from tee to the hole. Yes, my first Hole-in-One️ I was so excited and so blessed, my son and friends got to witness this rare moment. I just had a conversation two holes prior saying that hole-in-ones are accuracy and lots of luck. What’s really crazy is I only hit about 30 range balls yesterday with these Titleist T-100 irons with X-Stiff shafts that my son gave me.
