My first hole-in-one was made with a Titleist AVX ball. I faced the par 3, 16th hole at Ladera GC in Albuquerque, NM. The pin was 138 yds out and I hit my pitching wedge high and to the left of the hole. My yellow AVX hit the green and rolled right…slowly going toward the hole and then disappearing out of sight, into the bottom of the cup! When it happened, everything slowed down when the ball dropped. The guys in my group were screaming and jumping up and down, like they were in slow motion! August 31st is one of the most remarkable days in my life!
