    Business trip to Waco Texas for a few weeks. Looking to take the clubs and spend my weekends playing. Where?

    Bear Ridge is the course the Baylor team uses. Lake Waco and Cottonwood Creek are other alternatives but not as refined or challenging.

    Falconhead is another one and the Omni resort course is a place you can usually get on to.

    I am assuming you are looking close to Waco so that's what I had suggested. There is another property not too far on the backroads, White Bluff. It is on Lake Whitney and has two courses. You can look it up on the internet.

    Bear Ridge is probably the best of the public courses in the Waco area. Cottonwood Creek if you’re wanting something a little less of a challenge. If you’re willing to drive a bit South, courses down in Georgetown and Round Rock are plentiful. Teravista, Avery Ranch and Star Ranch are usually in good shape and great layouts.
