Heading back to Ohio

    I’ll be heading back to Ohio, Dayton area for the month of July before I head to Kuwait for the year. I am looking to play some nice courses in the Dayton/Cincinnati even Columbus area. What are some of y’all’s favorites?

    Since I live in the region I have lots of thoughts: Yankee Trace, Pipestone, Beavercreek (all nice muni's), Moraine CC, NCR CC, TPC RiversBend, Cold Stream CC (very nice private clubs) and lastly unique venues....Stone Creek in Cincy is amazing for a public course!

    Thoughts?

    I remember Beavercreek Golf Club being close to where we always stayed on trips to WP/AFB. I never had time to play it but it might be worth checking out.

    Here are a few public favorites of mine
    Heatherwoode (Springboro) is in great shape
    Stonelick Hills (Batavia - 55 min from WPAFB is awesome
    Beavercreek GC (by the mall) and Walden Ponds (Farfield) are always fun to play

    Only one in that area I've played is Beavercreek. It was a while ago but I remember it being nice.

    I'm a fellow dayton area guy so let me know when you plan to play and I'd love to tee it up with you. I've heard great things about Yankee Trace but have never played.

    Yankee Trace is a good one, used to hold a pga mini-tour event
