Spin is the King when it comes to short shots around the green. As spin deteriorates on your finesse shots, so does your control over the golf ball. As Titleist staff member James Sieckmann shares in this video, simply using a premium golf ball like Titleist Pro V1, Pro V1x or AVX, along with relatively new Vokey wedges (grooves not significantly worn down) will make a huge difference in optimizing your performance when you execute a finesse shot properly.
